Installation

1. Plug the power adapter into the jack on the side panel of the

HUB (optional)

2. Plug the B type connector into the upstream port (Root port)

of the HUB

3. Plug the A type connector into the Host

4. Connect all USB Devices to the HUB Host Power Mode

Setting.

There are two power modes: Self-Powered mode and

Bus-powered mode. For Self-Powered mode the HUB provides

all the downstream ports with DC + 5V, 500mA (max) power

supply per port. For the Bus-powered mode, the Hub only

provides the four downstream ports (Port1 to Port4) with DC +

5V, 500mA in total.

Note: When cascading many Hubs, the upstream Hubs must

always be set into the Self-powered mode, only the last hub can

be set into Bus-powered mode.
